How enquiry, guest, and website information is handled.
Paradise Stayz is a brand operated by JMZ Realty Pty Ltd (ABN 73 668 822 802), Shop K1/3113 Surfers Paradise Boulevard, Surfers Paradise QLD 4217. This policy describes the information handled through the Paradise Stayz website and stay process.
Information we collect
Depending on how you contact us and whether a stay is confirmed, this can include:
- your name, email address, phone number, and preferred contact method
- requested dates, adult and child guest numbers, residence preference, occasion, and planning requests
- messages, support history, consent choices, campaign or referring-page information, and an enquiry reference
- reservation, payment-status, check-in, and stay records supplied through our booking and property systems
- technical website data such as IP address, browser, device, pages visited, and cookie choices where those tools are enabled
Payment-card details should be handled by the payment or reservation provider presented during a confirmed booking process. Do not send card details through the general enquiry form or by ordinary email.
How we use information
- to receive, validate, respond to, and follow up a stay request
- to match a request with suitable inventory and provide booking-specific information
- to manage a confirmed reservation, guest communication, access, support, and stay operations
- to record consent, service history, operational tasks, and guest preferences
- to prevent spam, protect the website, diagnose problems, and understand site performance
- to meet record-keeping, dispute, safety, or legal obligations that apply to a transaction
Systems and service providers
Guest information may be processed through the systems that support the relevant stage of the stay:
- Paradise PMS for website enquiries and, as migration stages are approved, guest, reservation, operational, and trust-accounting records
- temporary property-management, channel-distribution, and migration systems—including REI Master, ResOnline, and Nerve Centre—where needed during the controlled transition to Paradise PMS and the target channel platform
- website hosting, email, communications, security, analytics, payment, maintenance, cleaning, building-access, and professional-service providers where needed for the request or stay
These providers process information for the services they perform. During the current transition, information may be stored or accessed in New Zealand, the United States, or Finland. Google Workspace and other provider settings can affect the precise location, so contact us for the current list before submitting information if overseas processing is material to you. Their own privacy terms and security arrangements may also apply.
Stay communication and marketing are separate
Submitting an enquiry allows us to communicate about that request and, if it proceeds, the resulting reservation and stay. It does not subscribe you to promotional email or SMS.
We will only record marketing consent through a separate, optional choice. You can withdraw that consent using the unsubscribe method in a message or by emailing us. Withdrawing marketing consent does not stop necessary communication about an active enquiry, booking, payment, safety matter, or stay.
Cookies and analytics
The website may use essential storage for security or functionality and, if enabled, analytics or campaign tools. Those tools can collect device and usage information rather than information being fully anonymous. Where consent is required, optional tools should not run until you have made a choice. Browser controls can also limit or delete cookies.
Retention and security
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry, stay, guest-service history, consent record, dispute handling, and applicable record-keeping requirements. The website ingress queue removes delivered records under an approved retention schedule and flags overdue undelivered records for review; retention can differ in operational, booking, accounting, and legal systems. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no website, email, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Access, correction, deletion, and complaints
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, request correction, ask for deletion where it is available, withdraw marketing consent, or raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity and may retain records where a legal or operational requirement applies.
Email hello@paradisestayz.com.au with the subject “Privacy request”, or write to JMZ Realty Pty Ltd at Shop K1/3113 Surfers Paradise Boulevard, Surfers Paradise QLD 4217. We will explain the outcome or any limitation that applies. If you do not receive a response within 30 days or are not satisfied with the response, you may be able to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
